Request : Retain interface settings
Hi there,
wouldnt it be nice if you could personalize Resolve in a very simple way so all your settings are stored within your user profile ?
The first thing in the morning I have to do is setting my project list to “by name”.
Then I am adjusting the tabs in Browse so i can see the Alexa reel ID.
The next step is to go to conform and incresing the window with the edl and fiddling around with the tab postitions for Length.
And last but not least, I have to make room in the color tab so the parade is visible, six memories are being displayed, the image is zoomed out so i can see my vignettes and the flow graph is zoomed out to show the whole tree.
And then…after a crash or just the next time, I have to do it all over again 🙂
So here my request, please store all interface settings either as project seetings or user settings so we can focus on content.cheers

Same here… I already asked for it. As well as for FCP-style markers that would let me take in-a-hurry-clients’ notes (those episodic tv series…) right in the timeline.

i always resize the node window every time i open the project …
also now that we are talking interface settings : i would love to have the possibility to expand to fullscreen the node graph window and the animation window as well as the file browser etc… by pressing 1 keyboard button ,
All adobe products does this : pressing the ~ (tilda) button every tab goes full screen , and pressing it again goes back normal … this would be very very useful for node graph , animation and file browser window ….

I would love be able to full screen the animation window and the node window. And while they are at it how about a spline based key-frame system for the animation. I really think the old DUI/2K window needs an update.

i forgot to say also : curves bigger !!
i really think that the ~ (tilda) solution that bring full screen the tabs would be ideal for curves as well …

Also remember that I turned off “gang custom curves.” Every time it crashes I forget to uncheck this until I go to tweak a curve and they all move together.
