  Reposting 10.7.5 issue

  Since upgrading to OS 10.7.5 I seem to have lost my ability to monitor external video via firewire using FCP 7. Anybody else have this problem?
  I know FCPX eliminated this feature (STUPID) but do I now have to revert back to an earlier OS?

  Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
