I wanted to know how to go about generating an arc of water, then be able to pause it mid flow and circle around it 180 degrees. It would be great to get it as realistic as possible.

Well, you could try to manipulate the time in Thinking Particles. If it’s really just a simple ballistic arc, you can also use SweepNURBS with some noisy displacement or the MoGraph modules’ Spline Wrap. Beyond that I don’t see a way of doing it in C4D.

I put together a file showing how to do it with Thinking Particles: https://www.3danvil.com/tutorials/Matrix_Fountain.c4d

This is incredible! This is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately im not completly savvy on C4D just yet, and so many of the elements that went into this im a bit timid to. When your site is back up, ill be sure to read the tutorial on it. Until then, I may as well play around with it and keep a backup copy for when I butcher it up.

    Again, thank you very much.
