    Replacing With Gap… On A Keyboard With No Fwd Delete

    My brand new, rather expensive 27 inch imac came with the silly wireless keyboard that has no numeric keypad or forward delete key.

    In FCP X the backspace key deletes clips with a snap and I need to do a lot of deleting with a gap (until Apple releases multicam). Any ideas because the shortcut for that is the forward delete key and I don’t have one… and of course CTRL + D has another function in FCP X.

    If I have to right click and select “delet with gap” everytime I’m going to scream… at an Apple representative… and then buy a proper keyboard!

    Try shift backspace.
