Replacing Multiple Footage Files with New Version
Hi,
I’m a Cinema 4D animator using AE to composite my 3D shots. It’s not uncommon to get 15+ image sequences for the different elements of my renders out of C4D (diffuse, shadow, reflection, etc). The C4D->AE exchange automates the import and layering of these files, and does a great job of it. I’m looking for a method for quickly relinking mulitple files to the latest version coming out of C4D. Any workflows or scripts you might recommend?
To clarify, I’ve got a bunch of footage files used in comps with names like:
MyProject_vA01_Diffuse_f001 … f465
MyProject_vA01_Specular_f001 … f465
MyProject_vA01_Reflection_f001 … f465
MyProject_vA01_Shadow_f001 … f465They’re all stored in ./renders/MyProject_vA01/
But I now want to point all 30+ pieces of footage to their counterparts in the ./renders/MyProject_vB06/ directory with names like:
MyProject_vB06_Diffuse_f001 … f465
MyProject_vB06_Specular_f001 … f465
MyProject_vB06_Reflection_f001 … f465
MyProject_vB06_Shadow_f001 … f465Thanks in advance for any help you might offer!
Sincerely,Donovan Keith
