I was editing a project a few months back and had a good chunk of progress going. I closed the program and a few months later I come back and all my audio tracks in the timeline have some weird buzzing on them. I’m not sure how this happened and I’d really rather not re-edit unless it’s a last resort.

The original audio tracks in the project folder were not affected.

I know that there’s a way to replace footage in the timeline, but is there for audio? I’ve been messing around with it but I haven’t been able to figure it out. ANY help would be appreciated!

Do you have any effects on the audio clips that you can try turning off or deleting?

Nothing aside from speeding up a track or two. But this is all of them. Even the room tone noise track.

There may have been an update at some point that may have somehow triggered this issue. Have you tried deleting the cache?? Although, it’s not known for audio to be stored in cache.
