  • Replacing a Video and keeping the effects

    Hi,

I wonder if it’s possible to replace a video clip in the timeline and keeping the effects without needing to put all the effects again?
For example i have cropped and resized video nr1. And then i want to do a new video with the same effects and edits i have done can i just replace it by dragging over video nr2 without needing to crop and resize it again?

    Thanks

There may be a better way but this is how i do it.

select clip on timeline to be replaced
    “cmd c” to copy effects
    Replace clip with new clip
    select new clip
“cmd alt v” to paste effects from previous clip

its a bit clumsy but gets the job done. An option to replace with effects would be nice though.
