Replace with After Effects Composition
Having issues with Premiere Pro and After effects link.
After selecting “Replace with After Effects Composition”, When the selected clip appears in AA, it isnt scaled correctly, it appears to be have shrunk and squashed at roughly half the resolution…. Both composition settings are the same in both AA and AE. I can manually re-size this in AA, But why is it doing this?

I’m still not sure what AA is in relation to AE in the above sentence.
As to your issue, what kind of media is giving you this problem, what versions of Creative Cloud are you using, what are the basic system specs of your editing platform? If you can give us some of this, I’m sure someone can help point you in the right direction.

Ah! sorry, I do apologise, I misunderstood.
I’m using PP CS6 (also AE CS6) and using the “Replace with After Effects composition” feature within PP. However when the footage loads into AE, the footage is now resized roughly 50% cantered in the layer. composition settings are the same in both PP and AE.
All footage is 1080p 50fps Go Pro footage.
I Can manually Re-size this to manually fix this, But this has have never happened before…why is it doing this?

Panic over. It appears some plugin i was using had resized my entire sequence to 972×720.
Fixed 🙂
