Replace with after effects composition – clip turns into weird test card icon :-(
This is totally baffling me 🙁
In Premiere CC, on a specific section of footage, every time select footage and… Abode dynamic link > replace with After effects Composition I get a meaningless weird color testcard image appearing, WTF!
Here is a screen shot of todays pain!

This is AE’s ‘Media Offline’ image. Try opening the AE project and re-save it. This usually works for me on Dynamic Link. If the same graphic shows up in the AE project, then the media has gone missing, or AE has lost connection to it.
