  Replace Subclip With Original Media

  I dropped a VEG file on a new Vegas timeline. The VEG contains regions. I used a script to create subclips from these regions. I then sorted these subclips based on their names and dropped them all on a new track.

  However, I now want to “smart render” the resulting video on this new track, which means I need to replace the subclips with the original video. Since the subclips point to the VEG file which then points to the original video, this is a little complicated.

  I have Excalibur and also have lots of scripts, but I haven’t found a a way to do what I want. Does anyone have advice or ideas?
