How can I replace a PNG with another PNG in the Edit timeline while still keeping edit points intact?

I searched for this and found many resources that cover how to do this with video clips but found none on how to do this with still images.

    TIA!

Hi friend! you can copy with (control + c) and then go to the image that you want to pass all that information and right click on the image and then pass all the information with (alt + v) or where it says paste attributes, it will show a box where you can tell it what you want to pass and there you can select according to your needs.

It’s called a “replace” edit and works the same for a PNG as video. The easiest way is to Option-drag and drop onto the clip you want to replace. This will replace the content while keeping all edit points, effects, etc. If the new PNG is a different resolution, then motion effects will need to be adjusted.
