    Replace object with another in media bin?

    I have a photo that is scaled and masked and I want to duplicate that and then tell Motion to use a different photo for that duplicated one while keeping the other one.

    I realize I can select media and tell Motion to use a different file in my file browser “Replace Media”. This is different. This is like in AE when you can OPTION drag an object from the project window to the timeline on top of a layer?

    Is that clear?

    Yes, this is very straightforward. You can replace objects with different source media by dragging and dropping from the File Browser onto the object in the Layers list or Timeline.
