Replace media in layer retaining all effects from original
I made an 3D camera fly through of a layer. This layers media has had some animation to it’s properties. BUT, I have a different piece of media I want to replace the original with. Can I do this and retain the keyframes of thre original or am I stuck bringing in the newer media and recreating all the keyframed properties of the original?

there’s a “Replace Media File” button (shown in attached screen grab).

It’s even easier than that. Simply drag the new media on top of the old media’s thumbnail in the layers list and drop when you see the hooked arrow. Done.
