  • Replace layer to out time other layer at keyframe moment

    Hello everybody,

I have multiple layers (photo’s). The one appears as the other disappeared. I want to change this so I added opacity keyframes. And I want to overlap these layers.

Suppose each layer lasts 3 seconds. It is completely invisible when it starts and after 0.8 seconds the opacity is 100%.

So what is the quickest and easiest way to get the top layer to start 0.8 seconds before the bottom layer ends? So if the opacity of the layer is 100%, the layer below will stop.

Is there a fastkey to move a layer based on the keyframes time (and not the In or Out time) to the end time of another layer?

    Thanks for your help

    Sander

AE’s sequence layers command should do exactly that. You can even have it set your opacity keyframes for you.
