    I’m sorry, I know this has been beat to death, but I can’t find specific answers on old posts…

    How long is a graphics card on average suppose to last for (is it normal I have to replace after less than 2 years?)

    Apple care told me that my computer model is only known to work well with the ATI RADEON 1900 XT or the NVIDEA QAUDRO FX 4500… Is this true or will other cards work? (I use FCP and MOTION for the most part)

    I am looking to buy a better card (the nvidea) used and found this one;

    Nvidia Quadro FX 4500 Graphics PCIe 512mb DUAL DVI

    Those last specs don’t mean much to me. Will this be compatible in my mac pro?

    Can someone recommend the best, cheap, reputable online site to purchase a graphics or video card from so I can install myself (if the used one isn’t a good plan)?

    …the only way i know how…
