Replace a whole edited audio in the timeline with an other audio export
Hello there,
I will try to be as clever as possible, sorry for my bad English. My colleague gave me a VIDEO/AUDIO file that I worked with on Premiere Pro.
On my timeline, this file is now into many pieces because I’ve added some transition animations into it.
The problem is that the audio mixage wasn’t done yet on the VIDEO/AUDIO file I worked with. Now I’ve just received the new AUDIO mixage (without the image, just the audio).
I used “Alt + Drag and Drop” to replace the old audio with the new one.
But on my timeline : this process looks weird.
It doesn’t understand all the cuts I did on the old audio file.
At each cut, the audio restarts from the beginning. Why “Alt + Drag and Drop” doesn’t include that there are cuts, why does it make the audio starting again at each cut ? Why doesn’t it consider the TC ?
I don’t want to synchronise the audio everytime there is a cut, how could I do to make Premiere Pro understand that I would only like to replace the old audio with the new one without moving anything. Either the video, either my cuts etc
Thanks so much in advance
