  • Replace a clip with a multicam sequence?

Someone took the time to edit a 30 minute interview down to the best 2 minutes. There are a lot of cuts. But they didn’t realize this was a multicam shoot. They just used the video from A Cam.

I just created a multicam clip from A Cam and B Cam. Is there a way to tell Premiere to replace all the A Cam footage in that original sequence with the new multicam sequence? Or do we need to manually replace the footage at each cut, manually finding the in points and replacing using match frame?

I guess I want something like “Replace Footage…” but that will let me select the sequence instead of a new file. Any way to do that?

    Thanks,
    David
