I’m having a problem when I add a repeater to a shape layer in After Effects CC 2014.

I’m trying to create an effect like the one found in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecow1sghQ14&list=UUF5pdu3Z2Hk8bouDB_C3zFg

When I get to the step where I have to rotate the wedges, they don’t rotate around the central point. They are rotating around some unknown place, it just doesn’t look right. My anchor point is in the center, and my position is at 0,0 so I’m not sure why this is happening.
