  repeated frames in my footage

  Hi

  I have taken my footage from BluRay and transcoded the .m2ts files to ProRes 23.98 using Adobe Media encoder CS4 and I then imported them into FCP.
  The problem is there is a repeated frame every 3rd frame.
  Can somebody please tell me how to fix this? Is it an encoding thing, if so what is the best way to encode these files. Is it a codec problem?

  I am doing a lot of slo mo which really high lights this.
  My project needs to be delivered next week and I am desperately in need of a solution.
