Basically I want to apply a repeater to an adjustment layer, so that whatever falls under the adjustment layer’s mask is also shown elsewhere — and possibly in several places in a patter (much like the Repeater for shapes).

Is there a way to do that?

You mean like Motion Tile or something? It’s not likely to work with an adjustment layer, but you could do it with a precomp.
