repeat frame every 3:10
On a recent project, AE has repeated a frame in the render every three seconds, 10 frames. Anybody experienced this?

try, edit>purge>all…
i’ve occasionally had ae render strange things in some renders, sometimes things that weren’t even in that particular project, and this has usaully fixed it… rebooting has helped to.

I rebooted right before the render. The strange thing about this time is that it repeated frames so regularly

Nope. Didn’t know that mattered though.

I think that Dan is on to something when he said, “29.97 fps footage in a 30 fps comp?” Three seconds, 10 frames is exactly 100 frames, so there is likely something related to time or timing.
I don’t have AE on this computer. You might try looking for something relative to dropframe/ non-dropframe timecode in AE help, or the manual.
