    Repairing imported audio

    Hi all,

    I have been using Pro for a while and now I am carving up some of my old VHS tapes taken 10 years ago. Unfortunately the sound is crackly and jitters a bit. Can I fix it using Pro or do I need an extenal program ?????

    I would reccomend taking a look at Adobe Audition. Download the 30 day trial version and play around.

    Thanks for that – I’ll give it a spin.

    As I dig through more of my old VHS I guess most of the soundtracks will be a bit average. A fairly common problem I suspect.
