You have to make sure the boot DW disc you have can boot your current Mac Pro you are using. If it was the Nehelam model and you bought DW before they were released, you’ll have to buy and updated DVD from Alsoft, or run DW off a different start up disc to repair you main system HD.

FYI, didn’t seem to matter if I waited for the Apple Chime or not, just got the white screen and never the Apple Logo despite several attempts. I’ll check with Alsoft to see what’s up with that.

Aside from the 2 Kernal Panics this past week the system has been working just fine, I know that’s like saying I feel just fine for except this headache. I was simply trying to do the maintenance recommended in hopes of avoiding further problems.

I managed to rebuild the system disk on my Mac Intel desktop system by using my Intel Core 2 Duo Laptop by following these directions found on DW site. Connected it via FW, started the desktop in Target mode, Laptop recognized updated DW Disk and executed the Rebuild.

Once again thanks for your patience and your help.

That’s the best way. Boosting from the CD its takes ages.
Keep running DW in a regular basis, its worth.
