repair auto adjust of video
Hi Guys,
As a photographer and a bit new to FCP I have a question. I made a film with my 5d about my house. Since the light came from the windows I had a perfect exposure for my photographs. But when I started filming and made a panning I saw that when a windows with light came across my walls became dark. I think I left my camera in the P mode which automaticly checks exposure of the camera.
Now best thing would be if I could make another movie with Manual mode, but can’t do that because of the time limit.
I was hoping I could repair it with FCP filters? I know the color correction is capable of a lot, but when you pan the movie the light changes and color correctors won’t or do they?
Maybe there is another way I don’t know. But I hope anybody can help me out here.

A couple of options:
-You could keyframe certain attributes in the color corrector to compensate for the exposure change
-You could splice your clips where each excessive exposure change happens and individually color correct each section and just do a cross fade to each

That’s what I also thought. Best would be to place key-points for certain settings but that’s not working.
