I am very new to Sony Vegas Pro and rendering. I am also new to the site so hello to everyone. I am having a issue with rendering a video that’s about 2 minutes long. I am choosing to rendering as AVI. I’m trying to use custom render settings and I’m not sure what else too choose other than the custom frame size and fps. I am having trouble after I render the video it only does 27 to 40 seconds of the video. There isn’t a black screen or anything like that…everything is fine its just 40 seconds. I have all the video selected before rendering so I’m guessing its a problem with my settings because when I did this with mpeg2 I didn’t have this problem. Anyone able to tell me whats wrong or tell me the settings I should be using for a clips that are 29fps 840×524 I want the quality to be as good as possible. Thanks anyone that can help, I appreciate it a lot.

Why AVI? What is the delivery device? Which AVI codec are you choosing?
You say it’s “selected before you render.” How are you selecting? With a loop region?
    Any relationship to Tim?
