Renders are cut off
Is there some sort of “Safe Margin” view in C4D 8.5? When I select an output size, the image sometimes adjusts to ‘get into proportion,” but though hitting the preview button shows all, in the small picture window and the actual file saved, the file is getting cut off.
How Can I tell in my regular view if an image will be cut off without having to render the image first to find out?
I’ve tried all the Frame Scene and such but the image is still being cut off.

Yes, you can display the render area (and safe area) guides in the viewport. Check in the viewport configuration menu.

Thank you. I had that checked but with a light-gray line, didn’t even know that was onscreen!

you can change colors in prefs too.
