When you are adding video effects is it best to render them all at once or after each effect?

Also (and I know this is very basic but I cant get any movement) I have made a small short movie and I want to move the clips to the right so I can build titles. How do I move the whole project to the right?

    Thank you.

They dont NEED to be rendered at all except for a RT preview. Preview files are for preview only.

Use the Track Select tool modified with the Shift key or simply lasso all the clips you want to move and drag them.
