    Hi everybody,
I’m trying to render to a .wmv file destined for broadcast in After Effects 6.5 on a mac.
I’m given an error message that states ‘.wmv files can be rendered to a maximum size of 640 x 480′ in a mac environment.’

What’s this all about? Anyone know a work-around? (patch, upgrade, etc)

    Phil.

Nope, can’t do. Since Microsoft never really supported WMV, AE can’t use it fully, either. You need to render out a QT and then convert it. There is some tool/ CoDec for Quicktime, that will give you some options (sorry, can’t remember the name). I also believe Cleaner has its own routines…
