I notice when I render out preserving source clip naming that Resolve will still add a decimal and then a digit count even when format is set to quicktimes. The end result for me, in particular with Alexa footage where we’re rendering our selects for final conform, is that I have to remove the digits after the render from the clip name. Number of digits is greyed out once you select “Use Prefix, Suffix No of Digits From Source” but these digits added by Resolve are not in the original source file name.

Can anyone tell me how to avoid this (yes I’ve read through the manual and searched the forum).

And you are sure to render out the same clip only once ?
