Hi, I need a little help choosing the rendering template for a TV spot.

    Time Warner suggests:
    1080p – 1920×1080
audio – 2 channels full mixed (Mono??)
    File Type: MOV or MPG
Codecs: H.264, Pro Res, or X.264 (latter preferred)
    Progressive

There’s also a reference to closed captioning.

My instinct is to use Quicktime, not sure on Video Format/Codec. Any help greatly appreciated. using SVP 12

    Bruce,

I don’t know what “X.264” is, but I’ve found that every station here (Portland, OR) can take MOV/H264 just fine, even when they specify something else.

MP4s straight out of Vegas could work fine for you, too. You may just need to make a phone call.

And, yes, I think by “full mixed” they mean same audio on both channels.

Thanks. Called the TV station and sent them an mp4 aka “.m2ts” format.
