Rendering to wmv file
Hello Vegas Pros,
I’m using Vegas Pro8 on my PC. I’ve done a 19 sec intro with sound effects, music and voiceover. I rendered it as a wmv format to be placed in a Powerpoint presentation. This is the 1st one I’ve done with voiceover. It sounds great at home on my PC coming from the timeline and it sounds great playing in windows media player.When I use the companies computer, my voice sounds far away to where you can’t hardly hear my voice. In Vegas Pro8 I recorded my voice on a timeline below the music and sound effects, but it shouldn’t really matter. I confused and I think it might be their computers sound card. I don’t know what internal components there are in the companies computer so please don’t ask. Any suggestion?

The problem i can almost guarantee you is with the audio settings
on that other computer its playing on or its sound card quality,
even the speaker it uses.Steve Rhoden

Ralph, I’m certain that Steve is correct.
Most company IT departments have no clue about computers other than making sure that they can run the latest version of MS Office without any grief.
My work IT dept. puts the computer lease up for tender every few years and things like a decent sound card are at the very bottom of their list 🙁 -

That’s what I thought. The company gives the workers the basic computer in order to get their job done and that’s it. I’, just glad it wasn’t me, Vegas Pro8 and my editing skills.
