rendering to wireframe

February 14, 2007 at 2:11 pmIt’s possible. You have to enable the “cel renderer” post effect in render settings and check the edges box. It’s pretty basic. If you have Sketch & Toon it offers a tremendous amount of flexibility in terms of line style, hidden lines, etc.

February 14, 2007 at 6:31 pmto provide one more alternative: Get DiTools and use Tessa to generate geometry based wireframes. This is the most reliable method as it works with all rendering techniques for Shadows, Reflections etc.. The only limitation is that it can be slow on large objects. You can get something similar by selecting all polygons on an object and using Intrude or Bevel, then deleting the unwanted faces.
