January 18, 2006 at 6:42 pmAre you getting an error message, or what exactly happens? When you say rendering, are you rendering a RAM preview or out to a file? If to a file, what format and settings are you using?

January 18, 2006 at 8:38 pmThis may be jumping the gun, but check that you are rendering “Entire Comp” in your render settings, and not “Work Area Only”. It sound like you may have a work area set to 23 secs in the comp. Alternatively, you can adjust the work area to be longer if indeed this is the issue.

January 18, 2006 at 9:35 pmHaving set the Work Area to a smaller time range is a classical misstake, but havn’t done that. And I get no error messages. AE just stop and in Windows XP i can find tha AE doesn’t answer. It totaly shuts down. And I have also tried to use another computer with two diffrent AE projects och compositions. Either there is a preference in AE or there is a preference in Windows XP that I don’t know of.
