  • Rendering single frame without Comp Frame Number????

Posted by Mark Fogarty on July 3, 2006 at 1:18 pm

Using Andrew Kramer’s tutorial, Creating Proxies, I made several templates which have really helped speed things up. (a huge thank you to Andrew Kramer)

    but…

I can’t seem to output a single frame without the comp frame number being in the file name. I’ve toggled the “Use Comp Frame Number” button on and off in the Video Output section of the Output Module in the Render Queue. What am I doing wrong. It’s annoying to having to remove the frame number from the name.

    Thanks in advance.

no, you can’t really get rid of this. You’d have to use a script to automate this type stuff. Not sure off the top off my head, but I believe you can find some such script at redefinery.com.
