How can I be sure that I am setup to retain as much image quality when I export from FCP. Right now I am shooting on Canon 7D and using MPEGStreamclip to convert to ProRes LT or ProRes 422.

I am concerned that after rendering segments time and time again I am losing quality.

Also what would be that absolute best export settings if I wanted to show something I shot in a theater?

When you render inside FCP you lose no quality. When you Export make sure you DO NOT check “Recompress All Frames.” That will result in a quality loss. Just Export Quicktime using “Current Settings.”
