Rendering Produces Strange Black Bar
Every time I render, I end up with a horizontal black bar at the top of my footage, which shows up in the output as well.
I’ve tried enlarging the size of the video, which works until I’ve rerendered the piece. I’ve also tried cropping the output in ‘encoder’, but then my frame size is incorrect.
What’s going on?
The video is 720×486, widescreen (1.2) NTSC low res Quicktime, and my project is the same, with interlacing.

Correct Wide Screen playback is fraught with challenges, but before we can go there, I am confused about the properties of your source video…some things dont make sense like 486 and low res quicktime and well as 1.2.
Suggest downloading GSpot, it is free;
