I don’t know if anyone has run into this problem – but I’m trying to render a HDV 1080p24 file compressed in After Effects in a FCP 6.0.1 sequence that’s 720×480, anamorphic, 23.98fps. I checked all my render settings and RT and everything is set to the highest quality – yet when it renders – the final output looks like it’s being played back choppy (like it looks when the dynamic RT is playing back unrendered footage).

I took the AE file and rendered it on another computer in my earlier version of FCP 5 and it works perfectly – so I don’t think it’s my output in AE.

If there is anyone that might be able to help, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Bill

Is updating the software to 6.02 or.03 viable for you? I think 6.01 was a little buggy.

definitely viable. I’ll give it a try.
