    Hi all, got a bit of a problem with a G5 iMac 1.8GHZ, 768MB SDram, 160Gb HD.
In a project we are editing, when we go to render the render status bar flashes up and nothing happens. Under render all, render selection, render both etc the same thing happens, any help, suggestions etc gratefully recieved.

    Thanks

Just stating the obvious because I miss stuff like this all the time:

Make sure you are clicked on the timeline before hitting render.
Trash preferences and reboot, might fix it.

    Hope it helps

Check the dark green FULL bar and the RED render bar in the Sequence>Render menus. This gets by everyone at least once.

Many thanks guys, I was doing things right, but trashed the preferences and hey ho! rendering returns!
I haven’t had to trash preferences since OS9!
    Once again you guys rock!
    Thanks
