In my project timeline I have a few clips that need to be screened to take the black out. I did so and in the project they are fine but whenever I render it, the black is still there and hasn’t been screened out. Help PLEASE!

Huh? Do you mean keying? You cannot have real transparencies in video files, they are stored in the Alpha channel. By default AE’s composition background is black and it will use that to fill in pixels that are otherwise transparent. Unless you have an application that interprets the Alpha channel (like AE itself), you will never see the transparencies. Just make sure you choose a CoDec that supports Alpha channels as an output module (Lossless, Animation).

Render it in Qtime Animation and be sure to have million of colors+

the file would have the alpha channel.

    hope this help!
