Rendering Problem
Hi,
I have this wacky rendering problem.
I’ve just upgraded to FCP 5 and when re-rendering some of my files the rendering finishes…
yet the red, ‘needs rendered’ bar still appears there. When I select a portion of the sequence SOMETIMES it renders…I play with selecting
different portions and after much frustration I can usually render the sequence completely. I’ve had this exact problem running Premiere Pro a few years ago and using Magic Bullet in older versions of FCP.Is there a simple answer…or complicated?

A great way to do this is to use “FCP Rescue” a free Apple Script that will Trash the Preferences for you (and restore nearly all of your user settings afterward).
There are versions for FCP (Pro) & FCE (Express) and a new one for FCP 5.Download these free Apple Scripts at
