rendering on 2x Dual Core Opterons

Nice system.. I think, but have not used dual core opterons yet. Premiere will only see two core cpu’s. which is the most multi-thread capability it sees. The extra cores using 2 dual core cpu’s are redundant. Unlike Linux, or OSX, XP suffers from the same shortcomings. I am not sure about your system, but this hotfix helps with two single core systems. MS at one time posted it, but I guess now you have to jump through hoops to get it.
