I’m little new to Vegas. But I am having a strange problem rendering out to MXF format.

I am working with an HD 720p timeline. I have a slate with sound, empty medium and then a spot with audio. I try to render to MXF HDD 1280X720p 60 29.93 50mp setting. Sometime it will render with just the slate with audio, but the spot does not. If I render again with no changes the slate will not have audio but the spot will. Then there is other time that nothing will work.

I have the multichannel mapping checked and the channels 1, 2 turned on.

Does anyone have any suggestions. I am having to render out to MXF to put on the XDCam Disk.

    Thanks for the help.

I haven’t done multi in 9 for XDCAM, but it should be the same as 8?
I’ll connect my XDCAM and see what happens, this might be a bug not yet caught.

    Thanks,

I heard your the best. I am rendering the file out using render as first before going to the eport video to XDCAM Disc option.

    Thanks again.

    Spotted Eagle,

Were you able to get anywhere with the MXF render or a answer to my problem.

    Thanks.
