Rendering multitrack audio and video to QT?
Posted by Bob Mark on December 9, 2012 at 6:38 pmDoes anybody know the settings for this? When I try to render a 4 track QT file, I get an error message about the template not being valid with the project settings. Thanks.

Did you set everything up correctly?
(1) You have to add 4 buses to your project and assign your audio tracks that you want on each channel to the appropriate bus.
(2) In the render options you need to check View all options which will reveal a new options Enable multichannel mapping which when checked will enable the Channels… button.
(3) You need to press the Channels… button and map each audio bus to the proper channel and press OK.
(4) Finally press the Customize Template… button, go to the Audio tab and change the Channels option to 4 Channels.
Then you are ready to render your video with 4 channel audio.
