  • Rendering : Media Encoder and purging every frame??

Posted by Tristan Summers on October 25, 2011 at 11:04 am

If anyone has any tips on yhis it would help a lot…

    SOOOOO.
I am rendering with ACCURATE anti-aliasing on Vector files.
This causes rendering to crash if I do not purge every frame.
    IF
I want to render in background using Media Encoder,
    CAN
I get IT to purge every frame also?
Does it follow the project settings?
Or is this a different preference in Media Encoder?
    Thanks
    Tris

Hi Tristan, it sounds like you’re not on a 64-bit version of AE, where AE’s 32-bit versions may occasionally require a Purge every Frame setting upon rendering to get your timeline rendered.

I doubt that AME has such a setting. It sounds like you’re loading your comp directly into AME. It looks like you’ll want to render out directly from AE, to a high-quality file and then feed this file into AME.
