Rendering issue Vegas Pro 11
I’m having trouble finding a comparable codec for rendering same project in VP11 as VP10.
My goal is to render to a format that will display on my 50″ Widescreen via flash drive/BD player. Eventually I will create a Blu-ray disc.
I tried searching VP 11 from the Render as… box for the same template that I used in VP 10 with no results. I’ve tried numerous templates that are not compatible with my BD player or even Windows Media Player.
My current work-around is to render out from VP 11 (Sony AVC/MVC 1920×1080-60i), then import into VP 10 just so I can use the template that works.
Here are my settings for Vegas 10 and 11:
Same media for both: AVCHD clips (*.MTS) shot in highest quality setting 1920×1080 @ 24 Mbps
Project Settings: Template: HD 1080-60i (1920×1080, 29.970 fps) NOTE: I made no changes so both VP 10 & VP11 are identical.
Render as settings:
VP 10 Type: Sony AVC/MVC(*MP4…)Template: =Internet 1920x 1080-30p
VP 11 Format: MainConcept AVC/AAC (*.MP4) Template: Internet HD 1080pPlayback results:
VP 10: Excellent quality
VP 11: Lower quality (less clear, some scenes have distortions, black are grey)I have submitte to Sony Tech for assistance. Any thoughts?
