Rendering Issue on deadline
Hola all. I am on deadline for a work and I have a big problem. To work fast, I didn’t converted the .MTS video files native from the camera, and I did a lot of post-production on them. It is a 1-minute, 60-something shots project, in After Effects. Now, I was ready to render: a 32bpc PNG Sequence.
All AE built effects are OK, but the frames of many shots are misplaced and skips flashforward; I read that this is caused by the .MTS format not having a keyframe on every frame.
SO I tried to export in AE every shot in another format (like, uncompressed .mov) to replace all .MTS footage. BUT, little problem, AE’s render has this frame issue even without any effects applied.
Quicktime doesn’t open .MTS file, so no Quicktime conversion’s possible.
I really don’t know what to do.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY HINTS FOR ME? Maybe some tricks to make AE render properly (like, render in another format than PNG sequence or lower the 32bpc)? Or, maybe, another program for doing a good conversion of the .MTS files without loosing quality?
Thank you very much
