Rendering in Sony Vegas? Anyone having luck with 1920x 1080 hd?
Hello,
As of the present I am confused with trying to get a project to render without getting error messages or the render not working (first couple frames work then nothing but sound….
I filmed at 1920×1080 24p on a d7000 which takes movs, i then converted to h .264 hd mp4…which is at 30 p
I am confused as to if i should set the project settings to how it was filmed or what the conversion is…
Should i use progressive or interlaced?
Anyone having success rending in HD at 1920x 1080 mind letting me know your setting?

What version of Vegas are you using? How did you convert the MOV files to MP4 and why did you convert 24p to 30p (that makes no sense).

If you are not using the original footage than it doesn’t matter what the original footage was. Always set your project to match the actual footage that you plan to place on the timeline.

If all of your footage is progressive then you should use progressive.
I think you need to go back and re-think converting your footage.

For the record, I do 1920×1080 all the time for Blu Ray with no issues what so ever. I would agreee…. go back and check your conversions.
