Rendering in Photo jpeg
My shoots in 720p and its raw format is Photo Jpeg. I have tried alot of different settings to get a good format size wise and also not lose to much quality. I have found a couple that look really good but they won’t upload to youtube. Anyone got any recommendations for me?

If you are uploading to YouTube use the Sony AVC codec with the Internet 1280×720-30p template. It was designed for YouTube.

Yea that was one of the rendering setting’s that i used and got really good quality and size. But it won’t allow me to upload it to youtube. It gets up to around 20 percent on the uploader and then fails.

Try lowering the bit-rate. I use 4,500,000 and get great results. I think the default is 8,000,000 which may be too high.

The reason i couldn’t the file properly was due to mozilla firefox. I changed to google chrome and it uploaded fine. But youtube really compressed my video and it looks like garbage now. Any other suggested formats or alternatives?

The Sony AVC format that I suggested looks bad? or your original Photo-JPEG format?
