    Hello Everyone,

I just finished working on a piece that I thought was just going to the web. The client now has the opportunity to put the animation on the big screen. Originally the piece was set up as 1920 x 1080. Is there a way to render this out at a high enough resolution without having the rebuild the whole thing (the screen resolution is 2048 x 1556)?

    Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

It’s mostly vector, some jpg’s, no video.

I’m checking on the playback device now.

    Thanks!

Like Dave said, you’ll need more information on the playback device — but I’ll make an educated guess that you’re looking at a 2K projection system that plays DCPs.

There are currently no easy and cheap tools to author DCPs, so it might be best to talk with a local post house that has done this before and can help you, or make a regular HD video delivery (possibly Blu-Ray or file-based) if that’s acceptable.
