Rendering for HD DVD
Hi all!
I’ve made som recording on a Sony HDR-CX11e, and now I want to edit the vide, and make it to a DVD, where I intent to use DVD Architect.
I’ve looked a lot at this page and other pages for the best settings for rendering.
One of my problems is most of all that the video I’ve rendered is interlaced (lines in the video). Then I got the advice to deinterlice the project, but when I’m rendering after that, the video has lost a lot of quality.What will you suggest to help these problemes?

That was not good advice. Your video is interlaced. DVD’s are interlaced. There is no reason to deinterlace. Just render for DVD Widescreen from Vegas.

I add the vegas “sharpen” FX on the master output set to “light” it helps to keep some of the sharpness (duh) that is lost in the HD-DVD quality conversion..just an idea if you want to try it. I do it on all my DVD’s. I shoot in HDV, edit and then deliver in DVD…

On a earlier DVD I made it didn’t dissapear on the TV. It might become a bit less, but didn’t go away.
